CCEE Stampers - Pressed Flowers

It is time for another fun challenge with the CCEE gals.  Vicky gave the challenge this week.  We are to make a card with faux pressed flowers.   I used a Stampin' Up stamp set and added some butterflies that my friend, Greenie, sent me.  I colored the pearls with copics to match my other colors.   I hope you will stop by the CCEE Stamper's Blog to join us for our challenge and to check out the other team members cards, too.

Thanks for stopping by.

A Holly Jolly Soul - Sketch challenge

I really liked the sketch challenge over at splitcoast stampers today.   It gave me an opportunity to use up some scraps and make several cards to give to a friend for her birthday.  This little snowman from squigglefly makes me smile, isn't he cute?    Okay, I have to get busy here and get something done before the day is totally gone.  I bet you never have that problem.  It's just me, right?

Thanks, for coming by today.

Another cupcake

Here is another card  I made with the image "Pretty in Pink" that Nina over at Paper Cupcakes drew for Breast Cancer Awareness month.  This time I decided to make a Rocker card.

I hope all my friends on the East Coast are doing okay.  They have sure had some terrible weather.

Thanks for stopping by.

Paper Cupcakes - Pretty in Pink

Since October is Breast Cancer awareness month and the color for that is PINK, the  Paper Cupcake/There' Magic in the Air Design team decided to make cards for this occasion and Nina drew up a special image for it.  You can find this image over at the Paper Cupcake store.  I really liked the simplicity of this card so I did not add a lot of extras, the rick rack was gifted to me by my friend Kathy and I think it was perfect to wrap up my card.  I contemplated coloring the paper wrapper on the cupcake, but decided that would take away from it.    Our cards are suppose to be made with 75% of the card being pink.   If you do, Nina will put your name in the drawing twice for a chance to win a free Paper Cupcake image.  Since we all have either had breast cancer affect us or someone we know so how about joining us for this challenge.   I am happy to say I am a 17 year breast cancer survivor, no wonder I like pink.

Thanks, for stopping by.

Two Squares for Squigglefly Challenge

Rhonda's Rowdy Rascals over at Squigglefly Blog has a challenge this week to put to squares on our cards.  I chose to use this beautiful image "Apples and Pumpkins" by Lynne Stansbery, a Squigglefly
digital image.   Once again,  I was drawn to pumpkins and bright colors.  My main image may be on a circle, but it is backed by a square and my card base is square so I think this is qualified for the Squigglefly challenge.  Why don't you come on over to the Squigglefly Blog and join us for the challenge.   Someone always wins a image of their choice if they are the lucky winner.   You do not have to use a squigglefly image, but if you do, you will be entered in the drawing twice.

Challenges:

Squigglefly Blog- 2 squares
Scrappy Frog Challenge  - fall/Halloween
Color Me Creative - Twist of Orange
Hiding in my Craftroom -  Thanksgiving themed
Outlawz Challenge -  Friday challenge anything goes

CCEE Stampers - Tags

Brenda over at the CCEE Stamper's Blog gave the challenge this week.  She challenged us to make a card or project with a tag on it.   I used a Stampin' Up stamp set called Sense of Time.  I added a fern from another SU set, sponged the tag with distress ink, added the butterflies and lace.    I thought the burlap would go perfect with my tag.   I used a copic marker to make the brad match the tag.

Be sure and join us for this challenge.  If you are posting to a SCS gallery, use the keyword CCEE1243.   Don't forget to link it up with Mr. Linky on the blog.

Newly Released - Cracked Hello

Here is a card made with one of the new releases from Mark's Finest Paper this week.   I really like the butterfly and it also comes with a neat cracked back ground that is pretty neat, along with some sentiments.  The get well sentiment I used came from another set called Flaps My Wattle.  I  like the simplicity of this CAS card.

One thing for sure is, seeing butterflies will only be on cards for a while, at lease for me.  Both the butterflies and my humming birds have already flown away for the winter.   It was around 80 today and Friday it will drop to about 50.  Brrrrrrrrrrr, old man winter is on his way.

Thanks for stopping in.

It's a Sneak Peek

You are seeing three of the stamp sets that are coming out this week at Mark's Finest Papers.
The scene and the fish are from a set called "On The Fly".    The back ground on the first card is from the new set "Cracked Hello.  How do you like my fishing hook?  It was made with a paper clip.

Well, that is enough from me today, but I did want to share the news about these fabulous sets.
Have a wonderful day.

Speedy Fox and Friends #130-Leaves

It is time for another  great challenge over at Speedy Fox and Friends.   Our challenge theme is to make a card with Leaves.   I have plenty in my front yard, I could have used them, but I really think using this
"Autumn Splendor" stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers will make a much prettier card.  The gals over at Speedy Fox  has really colored up some great cards today.   Be sure and go over to the blog and take a look at what they have prepared for you to see.    I hope everyone enjoys this weeks challenge! We look forward to seeing your wonderful creations and commenting on your beautiful cards. You have until 3PM on Friday  Oct. 26 2012 to post your card. Please remember to link your card back to us or mention Speedy Fox and Friends or Marks Finest Papers a Heinrich Company in your blog post. And if you use MFP a Heinrich Company stamps your name will be entered into the drawing twice. Mark's Sneak Peek - TS Challenge

The Twisted Sisters challenge for today was to make a wintery card, snow related, Christmas, etc..
I chose to use this image from Mark's Finest Paper called "Poinsettia Blooms".   This set will be available next week.  I really like this image and it has some other great stamps in the set, as well.
I thought this looked great with this embossing folder.   I used the Martha Stewart branch punch to punch the branches around the lantern.    You are welcome to do the Twisted Sister's challenge, just use the keywords TSC1019 when you upload it to Splitcoast stampers.

Here is another card I made for the Mark's Finest Paper Sneak Peak.  I used two stamp sets that will be released next week.   The window and the sentiment is from "Enjoy the View".   The scene is from "On The Fly".

Thanks, for stopping in today to see what I have created.   I hope you are enjoying the sneak peeks.

Ghostie Superman colors

Being we are in the month of October, Brenda thought  it was time for the CCEE stampers to ink up with some gorgeous colors. The challenge this week is to use Fall colors with leaves and a punched border.   I used the image Ghost Superman, a Squigglefly image,  by Denise Clemmensen.   I bet you didn't know that a ghost superman wore different colors than Clark Kent.    In the ghostie world, they wear Halloween colors.   ~giggle~    My designer paper has different colors of leaves on it and orange is a beautiful color for both fall and Halloween.

Be sure to create your card or project and make a link to our CCEE Stampers challenge on your blog or Splitcoaststampers. Use the keywords CCEE1241.

This card is also for the Squigglefly challenge, SFC4012  to use Specialty Paper.   My corner is made with blue vellum.

I hope you are having a fantabulous fall, it has been really nice here.

BOO!!! Mark's Finest Paper

The challenge at Speedy Fox and Friends   is to follow a recipe.   The ingredients to the recipe is to use one ribbon,  two embossing folders and three punches or dies.  I chose to use this cute Mark's Finest Paper ghostie that is in the "I'm Going Batty" set.   I punched ovals for the pumpkins and embossed them,  embossed the back ground paper,  as well.  I used a die for the pumpkin stem, the image was made with a Spellbinder die, used a MS branch punch for the greenery and I added ribbon bow to complete to complete my recipe.
The acorns came from the  Mark's Finest Paper set called "Autumn Splendor".   I hope that you will hop on over to Speedy Fox and Friends and join us for this fun challenge.

Squigglefly Sneak Peek Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the SQUIGGLEFLY ~ Sneak Peek Blog Hop!  Today we are  sharing with you sneak peeks of our release tomorrow over at the Squigglefly Store.  If you just happened along-make sure to go back and start at the beginning which is at the  Squigglefly challenge blog.   If you hop all the way through and leave comments, you will have several chances to win some prizes, get inspired and have some fun!  I have used a pre-colored image by Inger Harding.  I love the sweet, vintage images and these are not the only ones, there are several more for your viewing tomorrow.

I just had to add Sassy Sally by Cheryl Alger.  She looks like a spunky one,  doesn't she?  I can just see her saying this to her teacher, "Your Kidding, Right???"  (Oh gosh, this could have been me when I was in grade school.  Probably the look I had before I kicked the teacher's shins.  Ok, embarrassed, but I really did that.)  I will use this as a birthday card and the inside of this card has a computer generated sentiment that says, "You can't be that old, can you?"  I can see a small child thinking that.

I hope you have enjoyed the sneak peek for today. Below you will find the blog hop path.  Have fun.
Please come back again soon.
SEE THE PRIZE BELOW.

Your next stop is TAMMY.

Thanks for stopping in today and being a part of our Squigglefly Sneak Peek Blog Hop.
Have fun and good luck and I hope you are a winner of one of the blog prizes.

Here is a Halloween package for one lucky winner.  You have until Sunday night to leave a comment to be in the drawing.    Become a new follower and if you are the winner, I will add some extra goodies to the package.

Use Chipboard

Wow,  October, already!!!  Soon all the leaves will be falling off our trees so I thought this leaf image from "Autumn Splendor" - a Marks' Finest Paper set, was perfect to use for an October challenge.

Brenda gave us a challenge to use chipboard on our cards.   I have had a package of chipboard buttons for a few years now that probably have never been used, included in this package was these chipboard corners.  Yeah, they are perfect for a fall card and for Brenda's challenge.

We hope you'll join us for this challenge. Create a card/project using this week's challenge and upload on your blog or the SCS gallery using the keywords CCEE1240. Make a link to our challenge.   Return here and link to Mr. Linky. We'll enjoy seeing your creations.

It's now time to check out the wonderful work of the CCEE Stampers  Design Team.

Challenges:
CCEE Stampers - Chipboard
Mark's Finest Paper FOSTV -  Use chipboard

MFP Flap card

It may be October, but I can still use 4th of July colors.   I don't know why I always think 4th of July when I use red, white and blue.  These colors are good year round although I do not use them often.   Today I am using one of the newly released stamp set from  Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company called "Tweet That".   Over at MFP Speedy Time TV,  Kathy has given a great tutorial on making flap cards.   If you would like to make one, go on over and check it out.  Every week they have a new tutorial.  If you are one of those crafter's who like to learn new things, you may want to check in there weekly to see the new tutorial.

Thanks, for stopping in today.

Paper Cupcakes - It's Fall

The challenge over at There's Magic in the Air is to make a fall card.    This is one of my favorite Paper Cupcakes   fall images.   Maybe because it has the big sunflower in front of the pumpkin.  I really like sunflowers.  I decide to add the banner and pulled out some a clear alphabet set for it  The acorns in the top corner are from a set by Mark's Finest Paper.   I used a MS branch punch for the greenery.  The paper is by Paper Studio and I colored the image with copics.

We would love to have you come on over to There's Magic in the Air and join us for our challenge.  You are not required to use a Paper Cupcake image, but if you do, you get your name in the challenge twice for the drawing of a free image to be given away.  I hope you win as I think Nina will have some new images in the store in a few day.

Thanks for stopping in,  I hope you are having a lovely fall day in your neighborhood.

Tammy's Scrapin Corner -  Fall Colors
The Pink Elephant - Banners
Color me Creative Blog - Bright colors

Squigglefly Color Challenge

Here is my card for the new Squigglefly challenge this week.  Rhonda's Rowdy Rascals gave the challenge of using the colors of teal, pink and white.  I chose to color Teacup Kitten that can be found in the Squiggle fly store and put her on a easel card.  She will be traveling to Alabama to cheer up a lady with health issues that will be celebrating her 80th birthday.   This lady will be getting a lot of wonderful cards from the Tea Potter's over on Splitcoast Stampers where there is a challenge to send her some love.   Ms Kitty and I will be signing off for now.  Have a fantastic day and thank you for stopping by today.

On Friday, Squigglefly will be having a blog hop.  We have lots of new images to show you.   I hope you can attend, there will be some  great prizes on some of the stops.  Start at the Squigglefly blog.      Hope you can make it.
