Every little girl likes Paper Dolls

Here is a Christmas tin I made for a little girl for Christmas.  I wanted her to have a variety of paper dolls with different hair colors and bathing suits.  I stamped several outfits on designer paper and cut them out.  I left room for her to pick some clothes of her choice.  I used velcro to put them in the tin for storage.  Thin magnets should work well, too.   I thought tin would be very convenient  for storing the clothes  and the dolls.

These paper dolls will be in the Mark's Finest Paper store next week.  We will also have a blog hop next week so be sure and join us.

Thanks, for stopping by today and be sure and let me know what you think of  the paper dolls.

Speedy Fox and Friends - Happy New Year

Speedy Fox and Friends theme for this week's challenge is to make a New Years card.
I use the new set by Mark's Finest Paper called "New Years".    I colored the image with copics.
I thought a New Years card definitely needed to be "blinged up" so I added some gems and ribbon with silver cording.  The paper is by Color Bok.

As always, we hope you will join us for the challenge.  Thanks, for stopping by today.

Speedy TV Inspiration Challenge - Cookie Jars

The Speedy TV Inspiration Challenge is all about cookie jars this week.  I really thought I was going to
do the pink and blue cookie jar because I have that same cookie jar.  When I was getting ready to look for paper for it, I switched and went with the Campbell's Soup cookie jar.   I used  Mark's Finest Paper
stamps- Celebrate Big, Country Charm and Flaps my Wattles.  The sentiment is computer generated.
Come on over to Speedy TV and join us for this challenge.  You will find the inspiration pictures below.

Speedy Fox and Friends - Christmassy Birthday card

Today Speedy Fox has  a challenge for a birthday card, but it must have a look of Christmas to it.   Now I have just the perfect birthday card for someone who has a December birthday.  I wanted to make it so it could be for a man or a woman so I decided that black would be a perfect color for it.  I used the
Mark's Finest Paper stamps "Christmas Cardinal" and "Pansy Riot".

SpeedyTV Inspiration challenge #42 - "Glamper" Interiors

The Speedy TV Inspiration challenge this week was another one that I really liked, I think it is because I love those vintage "glampers" inside and out.    I used Stampin' Up paper.  The
Mark's Finest Paper stamp I used is called "Huge Blooms".  I stamped it direct to my paper and fussy cut it.  I took a  Sharpie Poster painter and added the white to make the flower pop.  I learned this trick from Angela Bode, a Sister designer for MFP.   I think she used a different type of white pen.  I need to find out, my Sharpie kept fading into the paper and I had to keep adding more white.  Below you will find the Inspiration pictures, I think you will be able to pick out the one I was inspired by.

I hope you will head on over to Speedy TV Inspiration Challenge and join us for this challenge.
Thanks, for coming by today.

Clearly Dramatic with Bling

Todays Splitcoast Stampers TLC challenge is to use clear embossing on dark paper with clearly dramtic results.  The CAS challenge is to bling it up so I combined the challenges.  I used a ODBD stamp that a friend sent me for my BD.  I really love this Christmas collage stamp.

Hope you are having a great day.  Thanks, for stopping by.

Speedy Fox and Friends - Use three Christmas papers

The Speedy Fox and Friends challenge for today is to use three designer papers on our projects.
I needed two tags so I made this for this challenge.  I used the Mark's Finest Paper stamp sets called
"Holly Jolly" and "Holiday Tag".   For the berries, I used sequins and added some ribbon to complete my tags.

I decided to recycle a paper bag for my wrapping paper.  Here is the package with the bag I stamped to match the tag.

Speedy TV Inspiration Challenge - Glamper Fun - Exteriors

I have had a blast making my card for the Speedy TV Inspiration challenge his week.   We got our inspiration from some of the cutest glampers.  Have you read about the Glamper craze?  People are buying retro campers/travel trailers and giving them a face lift.  I have see so many cute ones.   When I first heard of this, I thought it was silly, but it sure has grown on me.   I think it would be a fun thing to do.   I used the Mark's Finest Paper stamps "Mountain Selections" and "Scenic Selections" on my card.  I cute the little glamper with a Silhouette.   Around the fence and the  "Cottage Cutz" trees I added a little Spanish Moss.    Below you will find the inspiration pictures.

What do you think of these cute glampers?  There are a lot of cuter ones out there, too.  I just thought these would be fun colors to work with.

I want you to feel free to come on over to Speedy TV Inspiration challenge and join us for the fun this week.  See you there.

Squigglefly Christmas card - Shy Bear

Here is a card I made for the Squigglefly challenge this week.  I made it a little early so I could enter it in the Ways to Use It and the Free 4 all challenge over at Splitcoast stamping.   Squigglefly ask us to make a card with a Christmas image or Christmas paper.   I used the Squigglefly image called
"Shy Bear - Candle Bear" by Lynne Stansbery.  If you have never colored one of Lynne's images, you don't know what you are missing.  I love her images, not only are they cute, she makes them easy to color.  Come on down to the blog and join us for the challenge.  This will encourage you to make another Christmas card on your list.

Speedy Fox and Friends - Blue Christmas

Wow, it is Saturday, already, that means it is time for another Speedy Fox and Friends challenge.
Today we are making cards with the theme of a Blue Christmas.  I used a  Mark's Finest Paper  mini "tree" set.   I sponged the trees in Island Indigo on white paper.  I sponged bashful blue ink for the sky around them.  I added some sculpting paste on the trees for snow.  The lace was white, but I sponged it blue to match my trees and added pearls.  I used Silver, Island Indigo and white paper.  The white paper was embossed with snowflakes.  I used a silver border below the trees.

Be sure and join us over at the Speedy Fox and Friends blog for this challenge.

Challenges:

Craft Challenge - Christmas
Outlawz Twisted Thursday - Bingo

New Release of Mark's Finest Paper - Butterfly Essence

Here is the first card I made with the new stamp set debuting in the Mark's Finest Paper Store this week called " Butterfly Essence".  I stamped the image in gold on black paper and then added some red ink which gave it a bronze color.

This card was gold embossed on black paper and then colored in with Sparkling H20's.  I changed the color of my ribbon by using a teal ink pad.  My sweet little "Colby Jane", my youngest Yorkie,  helped me with this.   I dropped the bow and then realized it was gone.  Colby had stole the bow and ran upstairs with it.  Needless to say she had a little teal mouth.  I let my bow dry and found that it was now lighter than my ribbon.  I decided to wet the ribbon under the faucet to try to make it match better.   The shale button was colored with a copic marker and then I added some gold around the edge.

I hope you have been over to the Mark's Finest Paper blog to hop along with the gals doing the blog hop.

Thanks, for stopping by today.

CCEE-Twas the night before Christmas

The CCEE Stampers challenge this week has a theme this week - "Twas the Night Before Christmas".
I used the Stampin Up stamp set "Stitched Stocking" for my lone hung stocking.  I used Pool Party ink.  I used a snow embossing folder which is very suitable for the weather they are predicting us to have tomorrow.   Brrrr-I am so not ready for snow and ice.

Be sure and stop by the CCEE Stampers blog to see what the other team members have made and also to join us for the challenge.

Speedy TV Inspiration Challenge - Unusually Cute Chicken Coops

The challenge over at the Speedy TV Inspiration challenge is all about unusually cute chicken coops.  I personally think they would have made some really neat play houses for the kids, but I suppose there were special chickens who needed to be housed in them  ~smile~  I chose the pink chicken coop and how funny that I used a rabbit instead of a chicken on my card.  I used the MFP "Garden Bunny" stamp set.  Below you will find the pictures of the inspiration pictures.
