Classy Cards N Such - Tea Party Challenge

The challenge this week for the Classy Cards N Such blog is to look at the inspiration picture and make our cards.  We are supposed to add a flower, too.   I had fun with this one using the bright colors in the picture plus adding these cute little checked eye candy dots to the center of the daisies.    For full details of my card please check out the CCNS blog.

Speedy Fox and Friends - Creat dots

The challenge for Speedy Fox and Friends this week is to make a card and create some of our own dots on it.  I used a stencil and sponged the dots on white card stock.  I used inks to sponge all around the dots to make my background.   I chose to use the MFP Stamp Shop stamps called Tree Frog and Dragonflies to use on my card.  I used a piece of netting from a vegetable bag, scraps of burlap that were laying on my craft table and some gold fibers that were in my stash to use as embellishments for my frog.

Thanks for looking at my card today and be sure to join us for the challenge.  We love seeing your creations.

Ways to Use It Challenge - Buttons and Lace

Made this for the Ways to Use It challenge today. When I thought of buttons and lace, it reminded me I had this dress form die set that I have not used. I have gotten it out a few times and looked at it, but then I would put it back thinking I have no idea what to do with this. Today was the day to figure it out. The tag is recycled, it came with some ribbon I ordered from Etsy, they put it in my bag for some reason. After 8 yrs of sitting in a ribbon drawer, it has found a home. The thread  was on a large spool, I  bought  it at a yard sale and it was ugly, I figured I would never have a use for it, but today, it did. :)    Hope you like my card and thanks for looking.

P.S.  I hate trying to match up pinks, they never match.

Classy Cards N Such - Neutral Frame Challenge

Here is a card I made for the Classy Cards N Such Neutral frame challenge this week.  I hope you will join us for the challenge.  I framed my burlap with gold and vanilla paper.  The gold looks much prettier in real life.  The dies and designer paper are products that may be found in the Classy Cards N Such store.  For full details of my card visit  the  Classy Cards N Such Blog.

I hope you all are keeping warm wherever you are today.  It certainly has been very cold in my little corner of the world.  I do not like the below zero temps we have had.

Thanks for coming by today.  See you again soon.

Classy Cards N Such - Bucket of Sunflowers

I love sunflowers.  I bet many of you have heard me say that before.  ~grin~  I also love this sunflower image from Heartfelt Creations.   I wanted to stay with a country flair on my card so I used  paper from the Glitz Paper Pack.   A card with a country flair always needs a checked bow and I used the Bow Easy to  make the bow.  The die behind the image is a Spellbinders Mary Border Strip.   For a more detailed recipe for this card, please visit Classy Cards N Such blog.

Thanks for stopping in today.  Have a wonderful Valentine's Day.

Speedy Fox Challenge - Emboss Resist

The challenge at Speedy Fox was to emboss an image on designer paper with Versamark and sponge on some ink.  I used the image called "Dogwood Blossoms" by MFP Stamp Shop.  I decided to fussy cut the image and put it on white card stock.  I think the white really sets off the image.  Please come over to the blog  to see the other gals cards and join in the challenge.

Classy Cards N Such - Frenchie Love

Here is a card I made with many products from Classy Cards N Such.   My new little love in my life, Tucker,  was my inspiration for this card.  For those of you who have not seen Tucker, he is so cute, but all momma's think their babies are cute, don't they?  My neighbor says he is ugly, but what does what does she know?  ~grin~  For those of you who might have missed his picture in an earlier post, I will re-post it for you to see.

Tucker aka Stitch

Anyone who knows me, knows I could talk about my fur babies all day, but right now I am going to get back to my card.  I think it would make a perfect Valentine card.  Below you will find a list of dies I used to make my card.  For full details of my card-you can find it HERE.

Here is another card I made with the cute Frenchie Die.

Thank you, for stopping in today.  Come back soon.
