QKR Stampede - Halloween

It is time for another challenge at the QKR Stampede blog.    The theme is Halloween.   I decided to use the Haunted House #24235 image for my card today.   I wanted to add in some bright colors so I did some sponging and placed the window over the image.   I added a couple of spooky eye balls in the top of the window.    I liked the black cat at the bottom of the window, but I am not sure how well you can see it.

I am hoping you will come over to the blog and share your Halloween cards with us.  You just never know, you might be the lucky winner of some new digi stamps,  if you do.

Thank you, for stopping by my blog and have a wonderful fall weekend.

Free 4 All Challenge - Back To The Future

Hi, I am the hostess for the Free 4 All challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers.  Shelly and I decided that a theme of "Back To The Future" would be fun.   October 21st, 2015 was named Back To The Future Day.   Okay, we are almost a year behind.  ~Grin~  The things I remembered about the movie was the clock and a train so now you know why my card has them on it.  I added the OUTATIME at the top of the card so it can be a belated Birthday card.  OUTATIME was on the license plate of the DeLorean in this movie.

You do not have to use images that are from this movie for the challenge.  Anything old or vintage would work with the theme, as well.  We just want everyone to have fun.

If you have some free time, head on over to Splitcoast and join us for the challenge.

Thanks,  for coming by today.

QKR Wild West

Here we are and it is Friday, again.  That means it is time for a new challenge from the QKR Stampede blog.  This week the theme is Wild West.   This one is right up my alley as I have two grandsons that were really big into rodeos.  Now that they are grown and have their own little babies,  I still make them western cards.  Now I have another one to add to my stash for them.

I used the QKR Stampede image Cowboy Owl #14303.   I used a lot of scraps that were left over from my other western cards and I like the way it looks.  My sentiment was computer generated.

I sure hope you will join us for this fun challenge.

MHK Designs - New Year Greetings

New Year Greetings Digital Stamp Set
I am loving this cute New Year Greetings set from MHK.  It was so easy to work with.   The image could also be used as a birthday card or invitation.    I used copics, gold and silver leaf pens to color the image.  I chose to use gold and black papers on it because those colors always look so elegant.   They are so perfect for a New Years card.   Be sure and go over to the
MHK Designs Blog.   You will find other cards there and check out the design team blogs.   Leave some comments for them and you just might win one of the new releases.

I have really enjoyed being the guest designer for MHK Designs.   Thanks, for stopping in and taking a peek at my cards.

MHK Designs New Release - Perfect Poinsettia

 Perfect Poinsettia Digital Stamp Set

I am back today with another card I made for the new release over at MHK Designs Blog.  Today I am showcasing the "Perfect Poinsettia" set.   I really like the red, black and white color combo for Christmas cards and I use it every year.  The beautiful poinsettia was so perfect for these colors.  I layered my die cuts and placed the fussy cut poinsettia on top.   I used border dies to make my scalloped layers.   I hope you liked my card and are enjoying seeing all of the MHK new releases.

Please visit the Blog to see other cards made with this set and you will have a chance to win some of the new releases by commenting on the design teams blog.

Thanks for coming by today and I will be back tomorrow with another new release from MHK.

MHK Designs Newly Released Various Vehicles

I am back today, as guest designer for MHK Designs Blog.   I have another card to show you that I made with the new set called   "Various Vehicles".    This set has some really neat images in it.

I started my card by using a world embossing folder and I sponged it with blue ink.  I used a copic marker to color the blue water and then I used a white gel pen to make the water look more realistic.    I added a few die cuts to finish up my card.

Thank you for stopping by today and taking a look at my card.  Have a great day, friends.
